The Abha (Ayushman Bharat Health Account) card is a digital health scheme in India under the Ayushman Bharat Digital Mission.
The main purpose of the Abha Health Card is to store the health-related records of all the Indians who get treatment in the hospital online to retrieve the information easily.
Abha card is used in hospitals, when you go to the hospital, you have to keep all the health-related papers, reports, medicines, checkups, etc. with you.
If you have an Aabha card, you will not need to keep all these papers with you, your entire medical history will be available online on an Aabha card.
Abha Card Registration (Apply Online)
- To create a new Ayushman Bharat Health Account, visit the official portal abha.abdm.gov.in.
- After that, click on the Create Abha Number button.
- To create an Abha card, you have two options, an Aadhaar and a Driving Licence. Choose whichever you have. Here we are choosing Aadhaar because everyone has it.
- In Consent Collection, you have to enter the Aadhaar number, then tick mark on I Agree, after that enter the Captcha and click on the Next button.
- In Aadhaar Authentication, enter the OTP received on your Aadhaar registered mobile, after that enter the Mobile Number and click on the Next button.
- In Communication Details enter your email then Verify or click on Skip for Now button.
- In Abha Address Creation, create an Abha address for yourself, for this, you can also use the Suggestions and later click on the Create Abha button.
- Finally, Abha ID Card will appear, here you will get the option to Download and Print.
